Sausage (Cumberland from a local butcher) and mash (with some baked beans, the only time I have them), washed down with a glass of Shiraz.

The rest of the family are in town watching the ballet (Dracula), and I am having a quiet night at home catching up on Eureka and Chuck.

My son didn't originally want to see the ballet, but changed his mind yesterday, so I gave him my ticket.

Just had some pizza that I bought from Asda, only I spiced it up a bit with Pepperami and Blairs After Death chilli sauce. Cooked it in my nice pizza oven on the stone.

Just taken a batch of Cheese Scones out of the oven and once the coffee has perked we will be devouring the hot scones with lashings of salted butter. :)

Meatballs in tomato/meat sauce - leftovers from Wednesday, and all the more delicious for marinading in the sauce in the fridge for two days.

Just finished a KFC, had a Greggs steak slice for lunch and a bacon and egg barm this morning in Bowlers - i could get used to this not cooking lark. Its not so good for my waistline though :D

Not eating it yet but have ordered a Domino's to be delivered at 9pm to take advantage of the 50% off a £30 spend offer which ends tomorrow :drool:

As expensive as it is it's still a lot of food just for me and my little lad so we'll no doubt have loads left for tomorrow lol, i am not in the mood for cooking lately.

Mash spud add a touch of flour to bind, cheese, and lightly fry in oil (or oil thats had bacon cooked in it.)

Dragging up a post from last year ;) seeing as the crimbo diet's should have finished.


Not eating now but in the process of cooking.

Marinated my chicken breast in chillie flakes (1 Tspoon), 2 finely chopped chillies, garlic puree, tomato puree and some pennine fire hot sauce(2 tbl spoon) made by trees cant dance) and a healthy drizzle of olive oil, baked in the oven covered with tin foil. Home made chips and a 6oz bit of rump covered in saute'd mushrooms and onion topped with 2 free range eggs.

Hmmmmmm gringo bottom me thinks tomorrow :o:

I am on a diet.
Lost 5lbs in 8 days, so its going well.
4lbs more to go then I am back to normal.

Oh and dont forget boys and girls, when you chop chillies make sure you wear gloves. If you dont and you rub sensitive parts of your anatomy (like eye lids) prepare for a burning sensation, and the hotter the chillie the warmer the burn ;) oh and dont be amourous with your other half, they'll feel it too lol!
