Any good? Ive read reviews and looks good. I liking the fact i can have HD audio when it arrives. What should i know about it before hand, can you PM me so we dont go off topic? :)

Re: What have you just bought?

its a good Amp for the money very easy to set up. Does your tv have an ARC HDMI port? if so you will want to use it as the amp then will passthrough HDMI while still in a low power state and only fully switches on when you want to use the amp for audio. The HDMI switch in it is also the only switch I have used that actually works

what did you pay?

Payed £160 each. I didnt know the TV had to have ARC HDMI port as i thought the AMP did all that no matter what. The Tv's that it will be used on are a few years old. The reviews i read didnt mention it had to be on TV's that had a ARC HDMI port.

It looks a good AMP thou, nice and sleek. Far better than the AMP i had before

I have to own up and say the same. I've been after a coat for the last 2-3 years, and I'm very picky (=very difficult) as it seems almost all coats never seem to suit me (slim build). So thought I'd check this one and was very impressed.

Though on the way out the wife spotted the 'Rikie' jacket which wasn't in a sale but I managed to get a price match on it (saving £75).

Both of these 2 coats should have come with instructions...... :D

Hugh's started a trend, he should have be on commission. :)

Rather boring...

A replacement socket for the one that my sister's boyfriend managed to shatter the faceplate on. Also, an Mophie juice powerstation pro duo.

Essentially it's a portable battery back that can power or charge any device that can accept power via a USB connection, and can also charge two devices simultaneously. It's also got the capacity to charge my iphone several times.

Thank you kind sir, likewise yourself :)

It is a bit of a riot up here, these Scots take their Hogmanay celebrations very seriously and give themselves 2 days to recover. :D

It's a dry night for me as I'm the designated driver, but that suits me, I prefer to have a cast iron excuse not to get plied with too much drink when I'm at a big party. And besides, there's a bottle of 22-year-old single malt awaiting my return home.

Yes, I have been wearing it today. Works well over a hoody to keep warm stylishly...

TESCO was blasted yesterday — for starting to sell Easter eggs.

The supermarket giant has also tried flogging chocolate bunnies in the run-up to Christmas Eve today.

Over at Sainsbury’s, Cadbury Creme Eggs are already on sale — stunning festive shoppers and dismaying church leaders.

With Easter still three months away, the rush to cash in on the £500million-a-year market caused concern.

Church of England spokesman Steve Jenkins said: “Christmas celebrates Jesus’s birth — a different message from Easter, which marks the end of his life.

“Supermarkets should not be selling Easter eggs now.” He added: “Customers think it’s daft — and supermarkets should take what they think into account.”

Yes indeed it is a bit pathetic selling Easter things before Christmas has even ended.:nono::td:
