john Rhys-Davies and Jerry O'Connell are in talks for a Sliders revival. I hope it goes through because I would love a new series like this with different stories and settings every week. With the standard of special effects these days I think the series will be a lot better quality than the original because they'll be able to create any environment the writers imagine.

I loved the first seasons of Sliders. It was a fantastic show. Got a bit crazy toward the end, but would love a revival.

Re: Renewals & Cancellations

Not so much of a renewal as new series info. Another Walking Dead spin-off is in the works but tbh I think TWD and FTWD is enough:

Time to re-sole your walking shoes. AMC has just ordered another spin-off of its monster hit, the Walking Dead TV show. The new series, which does not yet have a title, is scheduled to kick off production this summer, with an eye toward a 2020 premiere.

No cast has been announced, but unlike the prequel, Fear the Walking Dead, the new series is a sequel and will center on “two young female protagonists and focus on the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse,” and will feature heroes and villains alike.

Hawkeye is coming to television. Disney’s soon-to-launch streaming service Disney+ is developing a Marvel limited series revolving around the Hawkeye character. Jeremy Renner is attached to reprise the role he has played in three MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) feature films.

Nice, he is the only semi-main character that i feel i dont know anything about. I put him en par with Black Widow but we have learnt more about her as we have gone through the movies plus she is getting her own origin film. I imagine Hawkeye will be aimed more at 10-12 year old boys in terms of the stories and action but it will be good to get some depth on the character and build him up a bit.

Hawkeye has been done before in 1994 and there was also a series involving Hawkeye in 1957.

It’s about him handing over Hawkeye to Kate Renner (as happened in the comics).
