Ford Sync 3 issues
My new Focus ST-Line has support for FLAC audio.
So I reripped all my CDs to a 128GB flash drive. Now one CD "Queens Greatest Hits I" doesn't display or show tracks 1 to 3. I have reripped 1 to 3 and still no luck. Also some of the tracks don't display album art, even though it is there. My thinking is dimensions of cover art and file type used. It was ripped using "FreeRIP MP3 Converter" Any ideas? Track editting and cover art added using "Mp3tag" |
Re: Ford Sync 3 issues
Right I have Queens greatest Hits I.
With the 128GB flash drive formatted in NTFS tracks 1, 2, & 3 do not appear. But if I format to exFAT they do, but it takes ages for the files to copy and sometimes the transfer rate goes to 0. Also under exFAT the device name is just weird nubers. |
Re: Ford Sync 3 issues
Format your usb drive with this tool (note must be run as admin) as FAT32.
https://filehippo.com/download_hp_us...e_format_tool/ FLAC is a specific codec see here for more. https://xiph.org/flac/download.html |
Re: Ford Sync 3 issues
FAT32 gives the best compatability with non-Windows devices such as smart TVs and Apple products.

Re: Ford Sync 3 issues
Good old FAT32 . . . pretty much useless on a PC but invaluable for many other platforms :D
