Lifted Paving - Impressed

Apologies in advance if i have posted this in the wrong section.

I had heard some horror stories about Virgin being really unhelpful when pulling cables installing to box on wall etc.

Yesterday i had two cable pullers come and then install brown box to wall and they did an absolutely amazing job, they asked if i was happy for them to lift the paving (i was expecting to do that bit myself) but they got on with it and no exposed wires all buried across the drive.

I had heard a few people mention they wouldn't lift paving bricks, but they even offered to do it for me, is it usually installer discretion?

Fair play Virgin, went above and beyond in that case.

My only worry would be if the cable developed a fault, would VM allow me to lift the paving blocks ahead of them coming and they would bury the cable in the same manner?

I think you'll find Virgin won't give a damn what you do with your own property.

One thing to remember. If Virgin have to lift them they also have to make good when they finish. If you lift them they don't.

It sounds like paving slabs rather than block paving.
