Did not know this existed till I finished Season 2 of The Witcher (which is fantastic BTW)

This is a prequal and I cannot wait

It was announced some time ago, I recall it being mentioned in one of our topics.
Its already been filmed, and is in post production, due for release sometime in 2022.

(The last report I saw mentioned "late" in 2022).

Michelle Yeoh (Philippa Georgiou in Discovery) will star in it, as will Lenny Henry (who will apparently also be in Lord of the Rings).

In fairness General this thread has nothing to do with The Witcher season 2.

It is about a prequel mini series.

I was going to move it, but strangely, it seems we dont have an actual topic for The Witcher.

Yes Paul, I didn't check until after my post.

I'm a bit amazed as I've enjoyed The Witcher but perhaps like others never felt the need to post.

Perhaps I'll start one tomorrow.

A lot of the good series are all posted in mixed threads and do not get their own

Then why didn't you create one instead of posting something here that had nothing to do with the thread?

Weird how the prequel got a thread but not the main show. Love the show and can't wait for this one to come out. It feels like it can be such an awesome universe to expand on.
