Hp Laptop battery issues
 

Just recently I've had problems with the keyboard on the HP Split 13x2 not working. It appears that when the laptop is being used, it is only using power from battery 2 for both screen and keyboard. Eventually this means there's no power to use the keyboard, although the screen still has plenty of power left in battery 1.

I've checked for updates on both HP and Windows (downloaded the latest Windows and installed).
I've also removed both Compliant Control Method Battery drivers from the device manager and re-installed, but still getting the issue.
I've noticed that others have had a similar issue, but haven't yet seen a solution.

Does anyone have any idea why this has just started? (I suspect it's an update somewhere which has gone astray) and what I can do to correct it?
