So no access to anything for me.

It has to a VM glitch as I am sure it is not feasible that they would have closed down all customer access.

Other than that there has been some comments about an on going VM email account closure policy on a thread over on the VM Community site. Started in March but still effecting people to-day.

I just get sent to the general VM login page. Unable to get to my emails.

I notice that before it even tries to get to a VM page, it looks at www.google.com and www.google-analytics.com.

From what l have ascertained this morning there are certain some issues regarding their broadband and also some email users are being affected as well.

Surely they would have not closed down customer access without notifying the customer first jo.

I am using Chrome on my Chromebook. Just tried again and this time I recieved the following message.

We're sorry this isn't the page you wanted.
It's something at our end, we?re working as fast as we can to fix it.
If you try again later everything will be sorted. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Need to do anything else?
Take me to:

I then clicked the My Virgin Home link and went straight through and when I used that access to my email I got the following message.

It seems Virgins email system has been down since early this morning.

Anybody else having problems with it?.

Yup

If I try to log in to VM, I get this page

https://my.virginmedia.com/holding/

If I take the ntlworld.com option, I get

"this site can't be reached

mail.ntlworld.com refused to connect"

---------- Post added at 12:31 ---------- Previous post was at 12:28 ----------

All the rest seem to be down, but if you click on the virginmedia.com "click here", I got into my ntlworld email account.

Update - it definitely works logging into the @virginmedia.com option.

I just went in and sent an email to my gmail account, and have just received it.

It might be useful as a workaround until the proper access is back up (I don't use my ntlworld account - everything is forwarded on to my gmail account).

Re: Virgin E-Mail lssues

Getting regular mail via my client all this morning on @virgin.net and @ntlworld.com accounts.

As an aside IMHO using a client is a better way as the mail, both received and sent, is stored locally on your PC so if the accounts ever go belly up you still have all the emails. The mailboxes are simple files which can also be copied to other PCs.
