Premium rate call not made from the phone
 
My mother’s bill has shown a premium rate call she did not make (she was out at the time) and wants to challenge it.

Anyone know if there is a department to speak with that’s not based in some obscure part of Asia?

Could it have been the cleaner?

I once found a mobile number on my bill that I hadn't called and it turned out that it was the cleaner I had at the time.

It is possible, and has happened in the past, that any 'dodgy' engineer.with access to a street cabinet can make a call on your line.
