Unable to delete files
I have 3 files in a folder which i cannot delete.
Ive tried changing ownership and messing with security on the files + ive tried move on boot and still they will not delete. Can someone advise me please? Thanks |
Re: Unable to delete files
Run linux from a boot disc and use that to delete them. Are you sure they won't affect your O/S if deleted?

Re: Unable to delete files
I sometime cannot delete a folder at work after I have copied it to the server.
It tells me it's open in another program. But later it will delete. |

Re: Unable to delete files
Try using "UNLOCKER"

Re: Unable to delete files
Unlocker deleted 1 of 3. I even tried having them delete on reboot and no joy.

Re: Unable to delete files
Alan try CCleaner in registry setting
Than tools icon and use - disk analyser - find offending files - tick box - right click delete. |
Re: Unable to delete files
They'd be gone by now if he'd used a live Linux boot disc as suggested 3 days ago.
