Probably hadn't got an answer back from the 1st time.

Assuming this is all true:-
If it had been a Democratic President,
1) it wouldn't have been leaked or reported.
2) Nobody would've batted an eyelid if it had been reported.

Trying to a disrupt a hurricane by whatever method, probably isn't a good idea as it would likely disrupt other relatively benign and/or beneficial weather systems.

If it's a stupid idea it will probably be leaked and doubtless reported. There's plenty of neutral, right-wing and indeed left-wing media in the world who would be keen to highlight a daft idea if it was floated by a Democrat. Or do you think that the Democrat Party has the likes of the Barclay Brothers and the Murdochs in its tight grip? And everyone assisting Trump is a Democrat looking for something to leak?
