Heard about this from the newsletter on Friday.
Devastating news but it will make me make sure I dont miss any opportunities to see her flying next year.

Yes it was announced on Friday by the trust.

Once again the Daily Fail gets it wrong...it's because the airframe needs work to keep it compliant with the standards, and they only have the engines that are currently install to fly with. Nothing to do with restoration costs...they've done that!

And why though don't they have spare engine??

Passengers and crew on two commercial planes use binoculars to help find a missing yachtsman off Australia.

An Air Canada plane and an Air New Zealand aircraft swooped down to 4,000ft to assist rescuers in the search for the solo yachtsman who had activated his emergency beacon.

:Yikes: I remember years ago going to an airshow at Cranfield, my father and I went on his motorbike and parked at the road that was near the end of the runway.

When the Tornado did it's initial pass, had a double decker bus been going down that road, the top level would have been toast.

A great show for us though!

A Jet2 flight has to evacuate at Glasgow this morning.

Unbelievably a complete moron decides to stand at the bottom of the chute and record the evacuation LINK

The sooner they start prosecuting these pratts with mobiles the better.

Was up at EMA today and saw them working on this 767's engine.
It's was quite impressive watching the work they were doing.

Hope Concorde has been properly secured by the Americans, it's the only SST and the fleet can't be replaced.

Would be a shame if the wind got under the large delta wings because if the plane leaves the ground chances are it will be written off and unlike houses it can't be replaced.

First pictures coming back are looking positive so far :) hopefully!
