Walker, Texas Ranger returns
 

According to Deadline, CBS TV Studios is currently looking for a home for the new drama series. As of now, The CW (which has aired Supernatural for 15 seasons) and CBS are the lead contenders, although nothing has been finalized.

Jared Padalecki (of Supernatural) will play Walker, but it doesnt really seem like a CW kind of series.

No it does not seem like it is a CW kind of series but maybe they are trying to branch out a bit.
