Why is it taking Virgin so long to sort out a deal for FTA Freesports?

It would be good to see this channel on Virgin. I wonder if they will be able to negotiate this when the existing BT wholesale deal is renewed. We are paying for BT Sports through our subscriptions after all.

I have access to this on my Sky box and can honestly say I've never watched it once.

Is that because you haven't liked the content or because you never look at what's on the channel?

I think it is quite good. With programmes like Fear The Walking Dead (not everyone's cup of tea), The Son and Mad Men for example, plus some pretty good films, it is worth having, IMHO.

In fact, it is rather better than Sky One, not that this is a difficult standard to pass at the moment!

I think you should compare the schedules on a day to day basis, Den.

Tomorrow on Sky 1, for example, you have 4 doses of The Simpsons; Modern Family; Sing followed by another two doses of The Simpsons; The Russell Howard Hour.

On AMC during those same times, you have Mad Men; Fear The Walking Dead; Halt and Catch Fire; The Son.

I suppose if cartoons, comedies and competitions are what rocks your boat, you would have a different opinion from me, but then you know I tend to watch non soapy dramas!
