No. It's an HD simulcast of ITV1. Some content will be native HD, while SD content will be upscaled. [Same as C4 HD]

The SD up-scaled looks great, I remember watching a film via the "other channels" section on Sky+HD and it started going into the news before putting the screen up saying not available and it looked quite good :)

Bout time, their HD output has been shocking, no surprise Sky wasn't bothering to carry the HD channel till now.
