For those of you who like Vikings (and not many judging by this thread :p) you may also want to checkout Knightfall. It is a new series starting on the History channel (same as Vikings) and looks very similar in format apart from this story is a British one. Links to trailers and air date info are in my tv schedule thread.

Vikings is brilliant have binged on it, on and off, for the last year.

I haven’t watched the trailer, and won’t.

I wasn’t happy about the end of the mid-season break though!

Me neither, presumably it had to happen because that is what happened in real life but it still made me mardy. Maybe if we sacrifice Mr K the gods will looks favourably on us and bring them back in the second half of the season :)

Re: Vikings

A beautiful end to a very good series. There have always been quibbles over the timeline but I knew nothing of Viking history so it didn't bother me. Great stories with an insight to culture and traditions from a people I previously knew nothing about. The production quality was superb and exemplified in the final few episodes with the new location (no spoilers :) ) and once again goes to prove what can be achieved when a series is allowed to "end" with dignity and not cancelled out of the blue.

They played very hard and loose with History seeing as it is a History Channel show but loved the ending and the guy who came out the tree made me happy
