Terry Pratchett's unpublished works crushed by steamroller

A hard drive containing unfinished works by Terry Pratchett has been crushed by a steamroller, as per instructions left by the fantasy novelist.

It is thought up to 10 incomplete novels were flattened at the Great Dorset Steam Fair.

To avoid confusion I have split the posts from his death announcement thread so the steam rolling news has it's own thread.

Apparently, Terry Pratchett said: "You ignore graffiti at your peril. It's the heartbeat of a city. It's the voice of the voiceless".

I wish they'd crush it all with a steamroller; not to silence the voiceless but to get rid of the bleeding eyesore.

I can't, I just cannot, resist quoting one of my all-time fave bits from Discworld, in Pyramids:

The camel looked down at the great pads of its feet.
Let speed equal gallop.
"How did you make it do that?" said Teppic.
"I didn't! It's doing it by itself! Hang on!"
This wasn't easy. Teppic had saddled the camel but neglected the harness. Ptraci had handfuls of camel hair to hang onto. All he had were handfuls of Ptraci. No matter where he tried to put his hands, they encountered warm, yielding flesh. Nothing in his long education had prepared him for this, whereas everything in Ptraci's obviously had.

- priceless humour people will still be laughing over in a millennium. I mean, a world in which the phrase 'pork futures' refers to pork that doesn't actually exist...yet? Better, the potential pork can be stored until it does exist...!
