Closed Captions in YouTube app on TiVo v6
 

Being slightly hard of hearing I recently turned on closed captions (ie subtitles) in the current v.692c4972 YouTube app on our uptodate Tivo v6.

To do this I paused the playback and selected the More Options menu and then the CC icon.

When I did this the wife was on the phone and our fans were on full blast and I was having trouble following my video. Now that it is quieter i want to turn it off, but i cannot seem to do it. When i click on the CC icon again I now get a closed captions menu when I have to change the option from English to Off. However I cannot find a way of existing that menu.

In the bottom left of that menu is Go Back note with a curly arrow icon beside it but there is no way to select it, and the v6 and v5 remotes we have have no buttons that actually let you exit properly.

Help!?

On a V6 remote, press the Back button which is just above the volume buttons.

I agree that the older TiVo remotes don't have any suitable button
