Online games?
 

Is it possible to play games (very basic maybe) online with another specified person ? The missus and I only want to play together not with dozens of strangers. Not looking for complex graphics, 3D or whatever, just something simple and fun (retro?) we can have a laugh about. We only have access to the web via tablet or laptop, nothing fancy. Any ideas?

I used to love playing Hearts with a couple of other people - it used to be one of the installed games on Windows, not sure if it still is.

Scrabble? the official mobile app is pretty decent.

Board games. I think they already moved to the online world. Yes you can play board games online with other players.

For retro LAN games, Hamachi might be useful - allows you to play remotely over internet, though lag might be an issue.
