Fuel shortages (again)

All the petrol garages round me (Tonbridge, Kent) are sold out of diesel and running out of petrol. What's going on?

The Eco nutters are stopping fuel leaving the refineries. I say let the working public with bills to pay deal with them.

That protest seems to be having a disproportionate effect on fuel supplies.
Anyone else seeing shortages?

No issues around here that I’m aware of, but I don’t think there was any bother at Grangemouth to disrupt deliveries.

We should have all kept our 3.0 litre V6 cars.
The more fuel we used, the cheaper it was . . now everyone has a 1.0 Micra or electric buggy, fuel prices have gone up to maintain profits.

well it's as good a theory as any :D

I am waiting on delivery of my new car. A Hyundai Ionic fully electric. It cannot come quick enough as my BMW 530D drinks fuel at a stupid rate. Crazy as it seems it was quicker to have the charger installed than the delivery of the car. :)

Glad I filled up last week.

E5 premium was out of stock for about a fortnight due to "priority deliveries" for diesel and E10.

I see a lot of posts asking where diesel is available.

Seems to be a diesel issue, almost none around here, except the more expensive premium stuff. I had to get some of that as I was almost on the red line.

Not being funny but can't they just arrest them for causing an obstruction?

There are times when I think we are far too soft on pricks like them.

They have dug tunnels and they super glue themselves to the road. It then takes specialists to remove them. I think the law needs to be changed so that they can be jailed for disrupting the passage of Fuel supplies that could prevent ambulances reaching critically ill people . Lets face it it worked on the idiots who sat in the road.

Panic at the pumps at Tesco near Cambridge this morning with huge queues, luckily I've got enough to last at least 2 weeks.
