Doesnt sound like the young girl and lad are comming back (as adults obviously), they were an integral part of the original as well.

I don't think they are still acting. They pursued other careers.

The girl that played Lex is now an artist, and hasn't acted much.

The boy that played Tim is still acting occasionally, but also directs. His most recent role was playing John Deacon in Bohemian Rhapsody.

it would be amazing if they could get those two back as well, what a nostalgia fest it would be. They could even write it into the stories that the characters have moved on with their lives and put Jurassic Park behind them and now all these years later Lex is an artist etc. I hope they manage to sort something out.

True, allthough she did act in a film in 2013, so its not beyond possibility if she were asked.
