England v Wales

What a weekend, yesterday was great rugby, New Zealand v South Africa, Austrailia v Scotland, today, another big treat, should be interesting, first at 7:30am the France v Ireland game that should get us rivetted into our seats; warm up the blood for the 10:00am England v Wales game and it promises to be good rugby. The team from Wales put up a marvellous game with their last outing with the All Blacks 53. Wales 37 can they keep the tempo up, will they be defeated by England?

These should be games worth watching; plenty of rucks, mauls, scrums, line outs, drop kicks, and hopefully trys and conversions ahead: hold on get ready, it's going to be marvellous rugby. Prediction, it could be tight: England around 33 Wales around 27 as long as it's good rugby, that's what matters.

I can't see us (Wles) doing much to upset England today, I think we put in our best performance last week, one game too early I think.

And to be fair we weren't that great against the All Blacks we seemed to catch them on a bad day, and England haven't peaked yet in this world cup, so I'd say it will be today :(

I just think it sucks that the UK media seems to be taking on the view that "we need to beat Wales to continue" :erm:

Well if you read The Sun (and most media based in England) England=Britain, Wales, Northern Ireland & Scotland are just extra.

good try by Wales - both teams still very tense.

<edit> another try for Wales!

<edit> blimey - half time already, it's a close match - still too many handling errors by both sides, no doubt due to nerves.

<edit> England get one back - 10 all - game on!

Yeah - good game so far - wouldn't like to be in the England dressing room tho! Bet they are getting a right ticking off!

Just hope its not going to be a repeat of last week where Wales couldn't maintain the pace.

The missed penalty by Wales was crucial - not a convincing win by England, good game, though - I thought the Welsh backs played really well.

Would have been better had the English actually scored a few more tries, too much reliance on a certain player I think.

:devsmoke: Lets kneecap him :devsmoke:

First, France v Ireland, great game, Ireland played well, France: excellent defence will prove troublesome next Sunday for England, my bet is France could win next Sunday. England v Wales 25:17, first half, my God, England, I've seen better school rugby, Wales took a healthy lead, second half thanks Wales for all those penalties. 25:17. England could have so easily lost it, must see better midfield, trys and conversions and possession next week and no fumbling errors.

Russ D. UK press, nationals based in London, they employ people from all corners of these islands and agreed therefore should be more sensitive towards the nations that make up the UK. Why on earth must God Save the Queen, the UK anthem be the English anthem, Jerusalem would be a better choice for England.
So next Sunday will it be France?

Again we are nothing more than "Brave Wales" :(

If England played great and hammerd us it would be easier for me to take, but we lost the game, it was our fault.

2 missed converisons, a missed penalty, and giving away penalties, simple mistakes that we keep making.
