Changing the size of an image.
Im looking to change some images from 4:3 to 16:9.
Whats the best way to crop/resize and is there software out there which will make it easier than doing it all manually? Thanks. |

Re: Changing the size of an image.
Don't bother wasting your dosh on PhotoShop..Trust me the guy that suggested it never bought it either lol :D
Free Open Source Software https://www.gimp.org/ N-Joi :) Edit: Oh and i know you love asking questions Alan ...I will read your mind. here is the answer :) With GIMP open, go to File > Open and select an image. ... Go to Image > Scale Image. A Scale Image dialog box will appear. To see the Image Size in inches or a value other than pixels, use the drop down beside the values. Enter new Image Size or Resolution values. ... Select Interpolation method. Have fun ;) |

Re: Changing the size of an image.
Adobe Image CC suite is only £8 a month. 7 Full on, professional apps for that price it very reasonable.
Photoshop, Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, Portfolio, Spark, Behance and Bridge. Plus access to Adobe Stock. It's a bloody bargain price. Always the latest versions, too. Gimp is painful to use, imo. user friendliness was not top of their feature list. |
Re: Changing the size of an image.
What's wrong with just using MS paint? Ships with the OS and can crop, stretch, resize, skew etc.
