Re: Should I be concerned
There are bigger things in life to be concerned about mate....
Does it work? If so, don't pratt with it is my non-technical advice. |
Re: Should I be concerned
Normally, I would not be concerned, but recently have been having problems with YOUTUBE, lots of stop/start jittering etc.

Give VM a call at the time you are experiencing the YouTube problem. |
Re: Should I be concerned
Is the jittering on a wired or a wireless device?
|
Re: Should I be concerned
I would keep an eye on it, +10 is the max so if it starts going into 11+ then you need to put a 7db attenuator on it to bring it down to the 3s

Re: Should I be concerned
@Hugh, all connections are wired.
Just completed the self-test, and this is reported. We're fixing an issue in your area. Your service may be disrupted for the next 30 minutes. Get issue updates via email or text and an estimated time for this to be resolved from the service status page. Get updates |
Re: Should I be concerned
I wouldn't hold your breath for 30 minutes.

Re: Should I be concerned
Latency appears to have "calmed" down overnight?
https://www.cableforum.uk/images/local/2019/12/3.png BUT Youtube still unwatchable, too many dropped frames. Self test, states no fault |

Re: Should I be concerned
Looks more like M50 to me :p I thought it might have been the speedtest you were doing providing inconsistent results, I normally use speedtest.net. I have just done mine and they are very similar so you can take your 46.5mbits as gospel which is a bit pants really

Re: Should I be concerned
You posted your upstream levels in the other thread and i believe they are too low so you need to get that fixed as that will be your problem.
32-33 is on the low side i think. https://www.cableforum.uk/board/show...&postcount=176 |
Re: Should I be concerned
Thanks, I have posted the problem on the Virgin help forum. When they eventually reply I will convey your information to them.
