Shame, I thought it was reasonable.

The Handmaids Tale has been renewed for a 6th (and final) season.

As mentioned elsewhere, Paper Girls has been cancelled.

Interview with the Vampire appears to have been renewed for Season 2 (Prod Weekly).

Armor Wars has been cancelled.
Rather than a TV Series, its now apparently going to be a film.

The Man Who Fell to Earth has been cancelled.

Quantum Leap (reboot/sequel) has had a further six episodes ordered for Season 1, taking the total for the season to 18.

Nancy Drew cancelled by CW. The 4th season will be the last.

A shame, it was one of the few remaining CW shows I watch.
I suspect that Stargirl and Kung Fu will probably be next to get the axe.

The demise of CW as a good source of shows was confirmed by its new owners, Nexstar.

In other words, a lot of junk, repeats, and stuff I'm unlikely to care about [as they tend to cost more to make].

Stargirl will end after 3 seasons at The CW

As predicted.

I fully expect Kung Fu to go as well - Nexstar have basically killed The CW.

Good news on The Sandman, it was quite good once it got going. :)

Manifest was confirmed back in August, in its own topic. :D

In other news ...

Fate: The Winx Saga has been cancelled.

Neither The Winchesters or Walker: Independence are getting any additional episodes (past the 13 already ordered).

Given Nexstar's decimation of The CW, its quite possible these will get killed off as well.

Re: TV Show Renewals & Cancellations

Fate was good but S2 was not as good as S1 so not really surprised it has finished
Walker Independence I have been watching but it is really annoying me, seems a bit forced to match Walker to closely. Would have thought this was cheap, They have the set it is in the desert so it is just actors wages

Nexstar want to dramatically reduce the license fees per episode they pay to Studios Warner Bros and CBS

i can't see any of the remaning Warner Bros shows surviving somehow.

Westworld cancelled after 4 seasons at HBO

Re: TV Show Renewals & Cancellations

Although I liked Westworld the story kinda ended well enough for me and it was for me anyway quite confusing

Re: TV Show Renewals & Cancellations

I quite liked Season 4, although it was quite hard to follow at times.

Not surprised by the cancellation though, I wasnt really expecting a 5th season.

Its viewing figures were really low (< 20% of season 1) and they basically killed off everything and everyone.
