I think that was largely due to covid, so I would not expect another 2 year delay.

Not very surprising … it was a good idea but the scriptwriting was ropey at times, and while I understood they were trying to do “millennials in space” I never really bought the idea that so many self-absorbed, indisciplined young adults would ever be allowed to make up the crew of any space ship in any universe at any time.

It relied too much on repeated acts of gross stupidity to generate peril, which isn’t something I can easily forgive in my telly.

Unsurprising, as Stewart is already 81. There’s no way he has the energy to play the lead in an action adventure series like this. It’s a pity this wasn’t getting made 10 years ago really.
