A few weeks ago I had an engineer visit for the above problem - he installed a powered booster.

Initially I thought this had solved the problem, however it is coming back occasionally when watching to live but especially on some recordings.

This affects my lounge box but not the one in my bedroom - the lounge box gets far more use.

I suspect that either the hard disk or one or more of the tuners is the cause of the problems.

Any thoughts please?

If it is the box (2.5 years old) will they send a new one for me to install myself or will I need an engineer visit - we are shielding at present.
