More and more names being sounded out but it appears if there's no takeover done in the next few weeks or before the end of July then Ashley will blow it off.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has signed a six-year £25million deal with United - the longest ever contract given to a player at Old Trafford.

Re: Season 2019/2020

5 Newcastle players to hand in transfer requests in the coming weeks. Newcastle fans are appealing to other players to do likewise.

Ayoze Perez, Fernandez and Schar are three of the five I've pinned down. Perez was on the border regardless of Rafa but if anyone could convince him to stay it was Rafa. The other two are said to be annoyed at the Rafa situation and Fernandez posted tweets that were later removed.

As previously said, if BZG can't get this done despite being adamant they will then this club is in absolute meltdown. Any manager that comes is losing before you've stepped foot in the door and will be booed relentlessly for becoming part of the Ashley regime. People like Arteta and Viera can only be seen as accepting demands like that because they can use the club as a stepping stone.

Without a takeover there's no winners in this. Local boozers are offering deals and free drinks to any ticket holders that boycott the match against Arsenal.

Mike Ashley claims BZG got rid of Benitez. They want Mourinho or Wenger.

The last time he started stuff like this he was cutting talks with Staveley and slandering her in the media. Here we go again

All this melodramatic off field crap is why I've got no time or interest in the Premiership.

There is plenty of melodrama even in the lower leagues Mr K.;)

We usually don't have to about foreign owners, foreign players, merchandising, agents, TV rights etc. Just competitive football, the standard of which, isn't that different to the top tier. Plus you as a spectator you can change ends at half time, whilst taking the bar in on the way ;)

Foreign owners in lower leagues, tell that to Oldham Athletic, Blackburn Rovers, Charlton Athletic and a host of other ‘lower league ‘ clubs who have all suffered far worse than Newcastle have under Ashley.

When I say lower league I'm meaning non-league, which is thriving with increased attendances.

Lower leagues entail all the leagues outside the top league.;)

Rafa is pretty much hammering the Newcastle hierarchy at the minute with various statements throughout the day.

BZG are set to release another statement. Could be as early as tomorrow but honestly I think it's to call off the deal. I think Ashley's repeated the Staveley circus. :erm:
The man behind the statement however claims it's likely positive. Besides the words it's done though there's no positivity here.

Not sure what the odds are on us going down but if they're decent then start covering that :D

Re: Season 2019/2020

Ayoze Perez Leicester deal accepted. We're also up to 7 transfer requests as it stands. Perez to have a medical as early as this week.

Given there's usually a transfer embargo in place during a takeover I guess we've found out where we're at.

I thought we were in serious trouble when Benitez was basically handed no transfer budget over a year ago. Now I'm feeling and seeing what serious trouble looks like.

Sean Longstaff to Man United could edge closer as we suspect he's one of the 7.
