Re: Renewals & Cancellations

The TV movies are on the Scandinavian Netflix regions.

Three of them:

The Librarian: Quest for the Spear (2004)

The Librarian: Return to King Solomon's Mines (2006)

The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice (2008)

You could get away without watching them, but they are fairly enjoyable (although very cheesy) and help set up the premise and so on for the TV series.

Hmmm, I think I've seen the first one already in that case

The TV series is much better than the TV movies, btw. Don't let them put you off.

Well co.uk redirects you to the .com. That may not always happen so best to post actual links. Its really not that hard to do and allows people to go to the articles and read the rest of it.

I watched the movies first, and Im glad I did, helps you understand the series a bit better.

It is, however, similar to W13.

Four weeks after its release, The Man in the High Castle has been renewed for Season 2 by Amazon.

Based on Philip K. Dick’s award-winning novel and penned by Frank Spotnitz (The X-Files), the drama asks what would have happened if the Allied Powers had lost World War II, picking up the action 20 years afterward. The cast includes Alexa Davalos (Mob City), Luke Kleintank (Bones), Rupert Evans (The Village), Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (Mortal Kombat Legacy), Joel De La Fuente, Rufus Sewell and DJ Qualls (Z Nation).

Excellent news - really liked the first series.

Took them long enough! First season was excellent, even if it was a bit slow.

Re: Renewals & Cancellations

I agree - imagine taking just under a month after the first series was launched to decide to make a second series...

The BBC has finally admitted that Blake's 7 has been cancelled. Damn shame I say.

I'm glad that The Librarians has been renewed. It's great fun, and fills the hole left by Warehouse 13.

Just started watching the movies, enjoying and looking forward to the series
