Electrical DC to AC 'inverter' help
I have a Ring RTC1000 tyre inflator which is 12v DC/15A/180w with a cigarette lighter connection on the end.
I'd like to be able to use this to inflate motorbike tyres without connecting it to the car to provide the power. what spec of mains inverter would i need? |
Re: Electrical DC to AC 'inverter' help
Not an inverter, it needs DC not AC.
One of these would do it, you just have to get the right connections https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-250W-...zC1q-OYxbM3X6w |
Re: Electrical DC to AC 'inverter' help
So i need something with 13a socket to plug into the mains and then a female cigarette lighter at the other end for the inflator to plug into.
