VM cut standalone broadband packages by £7 for new customers but...

NB packages now include a warning to say their prices “may change at any point during the contract”

So no haggling or discounts at the end of the contract? :(

Well absolutely. And then complain on the VM Forum when you try to cancel your phone line and be told the price is going up....

That would bring down costs for us all, so I agree with that. Everyone on a given level of service should be paying the same.
