External hard drives
Not much of a expert on this but l am looking but a external 4TB hard drive for one of our family.
Any suggestions and advice please?. |

As others have said WD are reliable, i've also found Seagate to be pretty good. There are multiple 4TB drives on Amazon for well under £100. Watch out for slower usb 2 versions which are sometimes still available. |

Yes for the Xbox it must be USB 3.0.

Have you considered a NAS drive instead? Lots have USB ports fordirect connection but also connect to your network to users can pick up files wirelessly. For a few quid more, you get a lot more functionality.
