What are you doing for the Queens Jubilee?

Anyone doing anything special for the Queens Jubilee?

We have decided to have a street party and all of our neighbours are going to cook a dish and we will have a few drinks.
Hopefully going to decorate the street in bunting too.

Whether into Royals or not it's a reason to come together and have a good time with the neighbours so happy days :) That's mostly why I'm having a party anyway.

You dont have to be a "Royalist" to have a good time. ;)

I dont care one way or the other about royals, but I wont be avoiding any celebrations I come across.

Two days off and drinks or parties sounds good to me. :D

Nothing planned, and we certainly won't be out in the pubs and clubs until 1 a.m.

I'll be traveling to go to to a job even though I'm now retired as it's for a friend for a friend. Complicated or what? Our mutual friend knows that the job will be done professionally and correctly. It's a full electical rewire of a house they have bought.

Before you ask, yes they will get a certificate for the installation from an industry recognised body (NAPIT) even though my friend can sign it off on his own (industry recognised) qualifications.

He's got letters after his name!:) :):) Oh I forgot, he's 75 next month. So much for retirement.

Nothing. Indeed, answering this question is the most I am likely to do.

Enjoying a long weekend with no alarm clock. Apart from that nothing planned and no plans to plan anything.

Sounds like the perfect plan to me Mr Grimm. :)

Still got my Jubilee mug from 1977. I was hopeful it might be worth something but since every school kid in the country got one I'm told not !

We are having a street party but it's delayed by a month to coincide with the 60th anniversary of our street. We also thought weather in July may be better and more people around.

I'll be enjoying my 5 days off work, nothing planned other than the usual, just the way I like it.
