Re: Thick as thieves?

Years ago a local likely lad, now deceased, broke into a factory by forcing open a skylight and then dropping into the room below.
He then found the room to be locked, he had nothing with him to open it as he had left his housebreaking implements on the roof and there was nothing in the room to enable him to climb on and get back out of the skylight.
I think he spent the weekend trapped in that room and was nabbed by the cops when the factory opened for business on the Monday. :)

Very aptly put Osem, sending this moron down for seven months does everyone a favour, especially the thief himself.
It says in the report this guy is illiterate and of no fixed abode, if he has the tiniest modicum of sense he'll use this time inside to do himself a favour and learn to read and write, but I'm betting he is too dumb to grab the opportunity.

"Police officers discovered him trapped in a chimney breast of a Tesco Express store on Ormskirk Road, Pemberton."

I'd just love to hear his Solicitor's version of events...
