TV screen burn
 
Have had my 43" two year old TV moved to another room and it's now one the wall. It looks ugly , would it get screen burn if put an artwork on the screen . Am old enough to remember screen savers !!! :dozey:

LCD less likely OLED yes. But it will cost

The artwork on the screen aspect
You can get TVs that are a mirror till you switch them on

LCDs and OLEDs can suffer from a similar issue called Image Persistence.

The earlyish OLED's were particularly bad for this. My 2017 LG OLED now has quite bad retention thanks in no small part to Sky Sports News and Good Morning Britain. The red and yellow logos are the big problem.

Thanks that's all I wanted to know , won't bother :D my son's is like a digital photo frame but that's not what I was thinking of
