Yes, bear in mind that anything relating to US produced programmes in this thread will generally be on US timelines as well.

that is great news. I love proper scifi like this (and Dr Railly :luv:) and am thrilled it has been renewed.

Yes, I'm pleased, however .....

The first two series have been 13 episodes, so I wonder why they have cut this down to 10 - it has that feel of "this is your lot, wrap it up".

Re: Renewals & Cancellations

true, they have moved on from the virus in season 1, they are going to wrap up the impending apocalypse/messenger/don't mess with time story line this season so I don't know what they are going to do next season. Although I can't see it taking 10 episodes, I would like to see them go on the attack with perfectly planned and researched series of splinters to go back in time to key points in history where they know they can make minor changes in order to bring about a fixed and perfect time line without the virus, the 12 monkeys or the tall man etc. Sort of like what the bad dude was trying to do in the Year of Hell two parter in ST Voyager.

sooooooooooo, is it just me or are you thinking the witness is Dr Railly? I thought it was Cole to start off with but I can't see him ever killing Ramsey unless the future Cole knows Ramsey does something unforgivable in the future which present Cole doesn't know about.

Just picked The Last Ship up. It's not a massively great show but its certainly watchable and likeable.

As for the 12 Monkeys discussion above. 10 episodes isn't a massive cut but expect an even shorter season 4 should they decide to keep running it that far. Viewership is tanking and given its status and limited broadcast audience it won't be long before it starts making a loss. Its unfortunate but as an Original network production there's nowhere else to go.
