I hate to be pedantic but how much? Are we looking at 3-4dB?

Less than 1dB. Usually closer to 0.1

I saw plenty of them when I was doing installs. Are you having a problem or are you just wondering? |
Re: Does a forward path attenuator reduce return path
I am completing an online course and this was one of the questions. Believe it or not the instructor did not know the answer. Thanks for the feedback!

Re: Does a forward path attenuator reduce return path
Just to correct slightly what I posted as I have just noticed a slight mistake with it.
Posted "It depends really, as it should reduce it by enough to notice it but if it is a faulty attenuator then it could do." It should read "It depends really, as it shouldn't reduce it by enough to notice it but if it is a faulty attenuator then it could do." |
