The Sweet bassist Steve Priest has died, aged 72.

So sad, they were on of my favourite bands during my pre-teen & teen years, in the early 1970's.

l thought they were great as l remember my Dad first playing them to me and l thought this sounds good.:)

RIP, they were before my time but I've heard their music so many times. In fact just been researching Life on mars and a couple of songs featured on a couple of episodes,

I grew up on their music. Block Buster, Hell Raiser, Ballroom Blitz - classics one and all. They don't make 'em like that any more. :(
