It is 01872260795. I rings me about 10 times a day and when i answer there is no one there. I have signed up to www.tpsonline.org.uk today. Is there a way to block certain numbers that you dont want calling you ?

A quick Google of the number looks like its happening to a few people. Might be worth calling the nuisence (think that is how you spell it) number in the phone book and reporting it.

ntl's nuisance calls advice line is 0800 052 1370 - i'm not sure if it is just recorded greetings or people to talk to...

It's the right number of digits for a standard phone number.
01872 is the dialing code for Truro in Devon... how odd!

Keep a whistle next to the phone and the next time they call, blow it as hard as you can down the phone. If there's anyone playing the old 'silent caller' trick, they'll not like it very much :)
