encrypting wmv files
is it possible to add a password to wmv files just a simple one by any chance for my school TOP SECRET movie that is being shown soon but i dont want anyone to see it before

Re: encrypting wmv files
why not .ZIP the file and put a password on that? then you can rename the zip to whatever and people will think it's something different, so won't even bother trying to open it.

Re: encrypting wmv files
ok - there's a pattern of blocks by admins coming up here - what CAN you do??
|
Re: encrypting wmv files
F2 it (to rename) and just change the extension. When you want to use it, change it back, but it won't work until you do (and you know the correct extension) so no-one else can see it.

Re: encrypting wmv files
I know!!! How about you DON'T SHOW IT TO ANYONE before the actual showing?? (or tell them where it's saved)

Upload to Internet... Use a Password on the Folder on the Website & your DONE... But let me Guess, you not allowed to use Internet either? :D Rename the File sounds like the BEST way for you. MyFile.txt or MyFile.php will work I guess. Just enable the "Show File Extentions" on Windown (if your Allowed to) :p: |
