Free PDF Creators

Hi, guys and gals, im looking for a free PDF Craetor to create some guides for my mum to show her how to perform simple tasks using her laptop and using applications (such as iTunes), i know she could look in the manuals, but i think that would confuse her, and as im the knowledgeable one in the house, i think it would be better coming from me.

Any recommendations?

Re: Free PDF Creators

Get a copy of Open Office, it allows you to save as PDF. Its a free download, only about 78mb.

Cheers for that, but i only want one application to do the job. :)

Re: Free PDF Creators

there are other ways of getting free pdf makers not that i can think of any that is?!?!

Re: Free PDF Creators

Wayne, design and make it in the Word version of Open Office and just save it, thats just one application. Cheapest and easiest way that I know of.

Re: Free PDF Creators

just choose to install writer and pdf maker when in setup

pdf995 is very good.

Re: Free PDF Creators

I still prefer the 'save as' type of pdf creation that open office can do, the 'print driver' types seem clunky to me, ;)

Re: Free PDF Creators

I use PrimoPDF.
It adds itself to your printerlist so you tell it to "print" to the PrimoPDF and it makes you your PDF files.
