I cant receive any emails from anyone using Wannadoo .Advice please

My advice would be not to post a Wanadoo email thread in a forum that is for General ntl Discussion.

What (if any) error messages are you getting?

Sorry about that .new to this Forum Where should I have put it for future reference please :confused:
I dont get any messages myself as my emails get thru ok its just that my friends email me back ,and their messages dont get sent from their end ,sometimes they get retuned to them and sometimes not .One friend gets the message "message rejected in reply to end of data command " :)

Are they clicking "reply" to your emails or composing new ones to you?

If they are clicking reply, then make sure your mail address is set up correctly in your mail client (Outlook/ Outlook Express?)

What email provider do you use? If it's NTL then we are probably still in the wrong place ;)
This could just be a blacklist/ spam block problem.

I'm thinking that the OP is on NTL but cannot receive emails from friends on Wannadoo but you never know :confused:

I am an NTL user .My friends have tried clicking on reply and also sending new messages ,and they have my correct email addy.This a very new problem over the last 2 weeks or so

Can you send yourself emails and can others email you? (just checking if this is specific to wanadoo.)
It may be that Wanadoo are back on the spam filter list and the mail is being rejected outside of the NTL network,

Yes, there's a couple of the Wanadoo servers [still] listed on SORBS.

This is an on going problem and there have been threads about this in the past.
I being an NTL customor can not receive any mails from wanadoo addresses. Instead, I've had to tell these people to e-mail me on my hotmail account instead.
It is a really annoying thing.
