Sharp Remote Control Volume Codes
 
Hi,
Does anyone have any codes for the silver remote control?

I have a Sharp TV and I cannot change the volume with the Telewest remote. I have tried this with a friends digi box (black remote) and it works fine.
The codes I have found are 0093, 0121, 0064, 0065, 0066, 0584.

Hi there , i have a samsung tv , and had a black remote for ages but it packed in a few weeks ago , telewest sent me a silver remote , but the volume & mute don't work , they have sent me 3 other remotes to try , but now say it's just coz of the make of tv and will have to just use the samsung tv remote for volume !!! maybe sharp tv is the same ?? does ma heed in changing remotes just to put volume up 'n' doon , lol

Here are some more codes for Sharp - 0121, 0064, 0065, 0081, 0322, 0122, 0185.

You might find code - 0088 works. If it dont here are all the Samsung codes - 0065, 0584, 0615, 0037, 0245, 0476, 0516, 0292, 0318, 0236, 0398, 0244, 0100, 0118, 0060, 0081

You probably already know how to program the codes but here it is again - hold vol + and mute together until green led flashes twice then key in 4 digit code within 10 seconds. If the green led flashes twice, your remote has been successfully programmed with the code keyed in.

hi again , been there done that got the t-shirt , pmsl , when telewest sent me the new controls they also gave me a list of codes to try for samsung and other models , BUT when i press the mute & +volume the green light doesn't flash !!! ( i also told telewest this , they said there is nothing they can do ) so i don't get the option to enter code
i will just have 2 put up with it !!! :mad:
unless anyone knows how 2 get around this problem ??

Im not sure, but it sounds like a battery problem. If you still have these problems with new batteries, then leave them out of the remote for about an hour, make sure you have drained all the excees power out the remote by pressing some of the buttons - this should reset the remote to factory setting, the try again with the code programming.

Hi m8 , iv'e obviously tried new batteries with no luck , but tried taking batteries out for a while 2 drain remote , but hey guess wot !! yip still the same , lol i'm giving up , it's no big deal i will just have 2 use 1 remote for changing channel & 1 for the bloomin volume !! :( thanks for the help anyway :)

hi i have a sharp tv model 32LF92H i have the same problem .The codes provided by telewest dont work! here are the codes i have tried 0093,0121,0064,0065,0066,0584,0081,0322,0122,0185 .Does anyone have any other codes for sharp?I have the new silver telewest remote control.Can anyone help?:confused:

I'm in the same boat, but I'm generally very pleased with my TV Drive.

I've got a 42" Tevion (Samsung) HD Plasma and the BBC HD Preview Channel is superb, especially the Galapagos program. Wow!

However, the mute and volume controls just don't work. I've tried all the codes supplied, with no joy at all.

It's pretty enlightening when Telewest are admitting the compatability issue and saying it can't be fixed!?!

Is anyone else experiencing this? Or better still, does anyone have a solution yet?

You might find code 0079 works with the new TVDrive reomte and your Samsung TV.

My plasma is not a Samsung BTW, it's a Tevion, but there are no codes listed for Tevion TVs. The panel is made by Samsung, so that's why I've been trying the Sammy codes.

I have i samsung t.v and i have telewest remote control(Silver) and the volume button is not working . telewest gave me many codes but none of them work .. ?? can anyone help me ? :confused: :confused:

Hi there, I also have a samsung plasma TV, & had the same problem as you, iv tried a number of codes 0236, 0398, 0244, 0100, 0118, 0060, 0081, 0516, 0292, 0318, 0065, 0584 0037, with know luck. However I did find one code that does work for the silver Telewest tv drive remote that will let you control the volume & mute for your samsung TV. Try this 0079.

I have just managed to get my V+ plus to control my Sharp TV volume, the code I used was 0157. If you do not know to reset the volume control back to V+ the code is 0683. Hope this helps
