Hub 3 - Latest Firmware?.

Hi

Just had a Hub 3 delivered to replace a dead SH2

Wondered if someone could let me know what the latest firmware is

Currently its on 9.1.88T with 10 Downstream Connections

Just wondered if it was worth forcing another reboot to see if there is anything newer for it.

Cheers

Many thanks, saves me the hassle of rebooting.

I know there are some firmware issues with these but anything is better than a fried SH2..

Yeah mine finally got an update the other day, anyone know what's been fixed?

The admin pages seem to load a bit quicker, but I'm guessing it's mainly "under the hood" stuff.

There are other fixes too but you will now get an open NAS on the Xbox but the Hub3 firewall needs to be switched on otherwise it is still restricted.

Any notes about being able to turn the firewall off without breaking port forwarding? (not had a chance to test yet)

What would forward the ports if the firewall was off? The firewall is what does the port forwarding.

Fixes to UPnP.

Fixes that help Chromecast devices to work properly.

Fixes to improve NAT type for XBox type devices, when firewall is on.

Improvements made to initial installation process to improve speeds.

Improvements to MAC filtering.

Various security fixes.

And other minor stuff.

Pink/Purple light.

I run my SH3 in modem mode. The other day due to a power outage my hub rebooted and updated itself to the latest firmware. Well since then there no lights active on the hub apart from the main led at the very bottom that for some reason is now pink or purple(can't be 100% sure, i don't see colours that well) I'm sure it was blue before.

Everything seems to be working as it should, getting the speeds i pay for so no complaints there but this light thing is kinda bugging me.

Anyone know if this is normal ?

Oh and before i forget, flashyphotos mentioned that his/her hub is running on 10 downsteam connections. i have 16 down and two up. i only mention this in case it's relevant.

Yes the ATMOS LED goes out after 2 minutes and yes it's now magenta/purple when in modem mode, as it should be.

How do you get the update?

Re: Hub 3 - Latest Firmware?.

I think it is automatic or maybe it is rolled out slowly.

Have you tried a manual reboot?
