lol, sarcasm aside, some of those system tricks are quite new to me.

People watching the video improves the channel's AdSense revenue so it does enhance something but the actual content is total nonsense.

Doubt it, for two reasons..

1. While changing those settings *can* improve the speed of your connection to your router or cable modem, Windws actually does an OK job of working out the optimal settings for most users.
2. You can alter the connection to your cable modem/router as much as you want, but you will not get more than Virgin allow.

And now, for a general warning about Youtube. While there is a *lot* of good technical tutorials on Youtube, anyone can upload any video they want and as long as it doesn't violate copyright or cause offence to other users, Google make no attempt to vet any video. To give an example (no links or names as I don't want to give the guy any publicity as I believe he is a scam artist) I have watched various videos on one channel, all claiming to give you a faster connection, computer or better console. In the case of the connection, IIRC, his advice was essentially change the colour of your ethernet cable. In the case of the console upgrade, he showed methods for apparently installing the Xbox One firmware on an Xbox 360 and the PS4 firmware on a PS3, and claimed this would allow you to play XBone games on your 360 and PS4 games on your PS3, totally ignoring the fact that the architecture of each console has gone through some fairly radical changes from 360 > XBone and PS3 > PS4.

Indeed. Watch mine instead when I launch it. I'm going to open a channel where I troll the living urine out of ISP related stuff on You Tube.

I don't care which ISP it is, all will be roasted until bitter and charred.
