Virgin Media is transforming the way in which home communications and entertainment services can be bought, with the introduction of flexible new Big Bundles.

For the first time, the UK’s fastest widely available broadband can now be combined with the country’s best value mobile SIM as well as unbeatable value TV and home phone services

Must admit i looked and was impressed till i saw that VM have followed the rest of the crowd by making the line rental an additional cost which does not show in the headline price.

Notes to editors

The first Big Bundles are:

Big Kahuna - £45 per month or £50 with mobile SIM
Big Bang - £30 per month or £35 with mobile SIM

Prices are for 18 month contracts, payable by Direct Debit, with paperless billing, and excluding line rental of £15.99 a month.
Just wish all companies would include the full costs in the headline price.

But i do feel this will be a good seller

Are these New Customer prices or can an existing customer switch at these prices?

The ongoing prices are available to everyone.

That's not a bad price, considering this isn't the usual price-for-12-months-then-skyrockets deal.

I have already paid in advance for my phone subscription so I would hope that this would be carried forward to the new bundle if I switched from the Premiere collection to the new Big bang with sim.

As Line Rental is separate to the bundles, then I see no reason why it wouldn't carry over. Certainly nothing to say it won't in any of the information I've seen.

Haven't yet seen anything either way yet, so don't know.

I didn't see this in the above linked article but it looks like they are also half price for the first six months http://www.ispreview.co.uk/index.php...nd-mobile.html

Prices for all of them were there earlier but seem to have been removed apart from 2 now.

It's not clear which level of TV is included in the Big Bang Bundle.

Unless someone knows better, I suspect it is not TV XL.
