Could you not hook your PC directly to your TV? Most TV's have a PC input, or you can use HDMI if your PC has an HDMI output.

YES THERE IS

I have a small Box called WD TV Live. It depends on what is on your pc you want to watch. I suggest you google it and see if it brings to the table what you want. It has various conversion programs that allow you to watch video's and pictures to your hearts content. In essence it turns your tv into a 'Smart TV'.

edited to say you wouldn't watch on the Tivo but you would be able to watch on your tv which I'm sure is what you are after.

I will second this - I have the same box, and all you do is right click on a video and select "send to WD TV Live" - works like a charm.

yea i know of them boxes, but i was hoping to be able to do this without spending much ££ an HDMI lead wouldn't work, the distance is too far, so the price would be way too much.

30m HDMI lead is around about £115

??

you only need an HDMI lead from the box at the telly. Do you not have a router? If not you can copy the required video's etc to an external HD and connect it to the box using the USB port.

I am not really sure what you mean, yes i have a VM super hub 2

Re: PC --> Tivo

Then all you do is connect the WD Live box to the superhub, and then connect the WD Live box to the TV via a SMALL LENGTH HDMI lead, and bob's your uncle

Re: PC --> Tivo

Yes I know - we offered you a solution to allow you to watch items on your PC to the TV rather than through the Tivo (which wont work) - I am not aware of any other solution you can use to do what you want - it may have been possible if the Tivo has a UHF loop through
