True, a friend of mine got married in Turkey, and while he is an experienced driver (in fact, he drives a little too fast for me), even he was too scared to drive on their equivalent of motorways..

You can barely make them out, but there are a couple of cables strung across the road. I think one was downed and got tangled in the front wheel(s) of the car. If you look above the car, you can see the cables bouncing as if they are being pulled by something.

It didn't start with " Stuart says" so I'm not doing it.

But that would require that Stuart speaks about himself in the third person! Damien doesn't like it when people do that.

seriously wont be long we get them this bad with the rubbish they put down and poor repairs when they do.

You used get gangs treating cracks before they become potholes now they leave them to get worse.

I understand the new policy is to allow potholes to get so big that they join together and form a flatter surface. ;)

The potholes around my way are absurd now.

Around here they're more like tank traps :). My best mate blew a tyre out last week when he didn't see the pothole as it was filled with water and it was dark at the time

unless its cobled underneath taf. here they got be 3inches deep before repair. Some more like the ones in that clip nearer 6inches.

On top drove in spain few moons back they got some inteligant stuff.

They have speed signs on seafront that change depending the volume pedestrians. Mountains hairy driving when bus comes around blind road with cliff edge. Alot there speeds outside are advisery not expected.

Even driving down some the side roads in some towns was nearly impassable. One was main road for traffic you had pull both wing mirrors in:shocked:. They just not designed for modern cars.

Drove to the speed like do here had alot grief behind so sensibly just pulled in let all pass if I could. I was scared like hell in those mountain roads thought they were mad.

I was in crash sadly 1 month old car due to nutter with lorry sped through. Turned out quite common issue with them out there they think there tanks. Even though nowhere to go hit packed car safer than him. You deal with spanish when you just smacked packed car you dont speak lingo.:erm:

Anyway the manager of the restaraunt saw incident and brokered the situation with hirer company. No-one wanted police 10k bond upfront guilty party loses it.

Turned out it was surface scratch just side light damage. Not much at all got the deposit back nothing on insurance:tu:.
