Couldn't stand him on those insurance adverts, but a shame he has died. Been expecting it really, last time I saw him on TV he looked really ill.

I quite liked the Guy, as well as his movies I liked his outspoken style.

He always came across as sanctimonious, condescending and pompous- not sure if he was like that in real life as I never met him personally.

I take it you forgot who you were posting about midway through your post!

There's probably quite a few people in the public eye that could be accused of behaving in a similar fashion, but this thread is dedicated to the late Michael Winner ;)
