yes but it has double speed increase dates, when his area is to be doubled he's upload speed should be doubled at the time that site says right?

Unfortunately, that isn't the case anymore - the upload increase for 60Mbit will come at a later date

and you will be dude because the upgrade work is seperate. Virgin's emphasis along with other isps has always been advertised download speed because that is what the majority of customers look at. 200mbit down looks great but who cares about 20mbit up? Their focus thus far has been to do the upgrade work to enable them to double everyone's downstream and even that hasn't exactly been going to plan. Before they do the upload increases they need to add the extra capacity to the network and also enable channel bonding (so you can use more than more than 1 upstream channel and are more likely to get full speed) but I think it is very much in its infancy atm. I can't see them getting round to most areas before summer.

Give them a RING...they should give you by now the little extra 3mb upload

Re: Upload increases 10% ?

I dont think so. They'll whack your download speed up in advance but not your upload

Re: Upload increases 10% ?

Only the proper 100mbit customers (pre-speed doubling announcement) are on 10mbit up. All upgrades and new customers are on the freely doubled 50/5 tier
